Tonbridge Castle

Castle St, Tonbridge TN9 1BG, UK – 01732 770929

Provides a nice place to enjoy a picnic and all with out a cost. You can tour the gate house for a price but the grounds themselves are just as satisfying. They provide some rather nice views of the town.

Great tour inside and beautiful grounds. Free parking Sunday and bank holiday.

Tonbridge Castle

Tonbridge Castle, Council Offices, Castle St, Tonbridge TN9 1BG, UK – 01732 770929

Really nice place to visit, wander around the moat, up to the keep for stunning views across Kent and then down to the castle lawn to chill out

Haysden Country Park

Lower Haysden Ln, Tonbridge TN11 9BE, UK – 0845 824 7600

Great place to go for a walk - toilets and a cafe with good coffee, burgers, ice- creams etc (outdoor seating only) fun play area and a basketball hoop and a goal which kept all of our kids (9-16) entertained! Fab free Easter egg trail in bank holiday Monday!

Nice place to walk. Loos close by as is a coffee bar and picnic seating. Parking is £1 fir up to 4 hours and all funds go to the upkerp of the park area and reserve. Well worth a family visit even in the winter. Come feed the ducks but please NOT BREAD it's not really a good food for them and duckling have been known to starve to death because bread fills them up but gives no nourishment

This link works well. If you have fly tipping, litter issues etc you can either click and enter your local authority or find it on an interactive map. The services just drop down for you.
