Choir Director

This small rural parish church seeks a Choir Director to work with the
existing organist to raise and develop a village choir for church worship.
Ideally the successful applicant should:

• Live locally
• Be able to build a choir basically from scratch – both a robed choir
and a more informal music group including a children’s choir
• Be able to draw in and work with both adults and children – an
enhanced Child Protection check would be required
• Be comfortable with both traditional hymns and anthems as well as
the more charismatic types of music
• Be sympathetic to the values of the Church of England
