My husband (who is no spring chicken but has always been active and still enjoys those naughty things in life) a few months ago signed up for the 8 week transformation. From the start he couldn’t have been happier with the facilities, the attention to detail in his individual program and the ongoing support that he received to achieve his goal. From a graduated fitness process, to specific meal plans focused on his own needs to maintain and progress his road cycling the changes were evident in his physique, energy levels and stamina. Achieving and surpassing his initial goals came sooner than expected within the program enabling him to reach a higher level of fitness. The flip side is the impact that it has had on the rest of the family, translating into a shared knowledge and enjoyment of exercise together. The Strength and Conditioning Institute is exactly what it says on the tin, a lifestyle, Mental and physical self improvement facilitator. If only we could all have this SCI shared vision... what a world it would be.
I recently signed up to the 8 week transformation programme and cannot speak more highly of my trainer, Claire or the gym facilities. The equipment at the SCI Institute is far superior to any of the top gyms in London. I now love going to the gym, which I never thought possible! Its nice to train with people who are so passionate about your wellbeing, fitness and nutrition. Claire is without doubt the best personal trainer I have ever worked with and I have already signed up for more personal training with her, I never want it to end. I feel stronger, healthier and have never had so much energy, which is a vast difference from where I started.

Kent Boot Camp is great, instructors always lively and encouraging, has really helped me to sort out aches and pains. I now feel stronger, fitter and leaner than I have for years. Varied activities, works your whole body, outdoors and with a friendly bunch of supportive bootcampers. One can work at your own level, make the exercises easier or harder. Convenient session times and long enough to get a good workout while fitting in with a busy life. The instructors really look after you, all very well qualified, they make sure you warm up, that you're doing the exercises correctly, warm down and stretch properly at the end of the session. thoroughly recommended!
As somebody who has previously failed in the gym, swimming, bicycling etc etc because once the initial burst of enthusiasm has waned it is just plain boring, Boot Camp has been a revelation. I am now in to my second year and the varied, lively outdoors sessions with a group of like minded individuals is just great. Instructors are knowledgeable and understand the different capabilities in the group. All is run with a good dose of humour with the aim of helping everybody achieve their goals. I am probably fitter that I have been for 30+ years (still a long way to go) and certainly a different shape! Very much recommended.

Lynn is a very experienced and knowledgeable teacher and students are encouraged to work at their own level and pace. The studio, is a bright, welcoming space and as classes are limited to 6 people, Lynn is able to give attention to each individual student. I started classes about 2 years ago and have gained so much from them. I am more flexible and have learned so much about my mind and body and what we're all capable of doing! I attend a class twice a week and always come away feeling the benefit of my practice.
Lynn is a very thorough, thoughtful and welcoming yoga teacher. She explains each pose - what it’s good for and how to ensure it’s performed correctly which is great. Options are also given to progress poses further if you wish allowing everyone to adjust the class to their own comfortable level. Classes are peaceful, calming, friendly and non judgemental. Lynn’s classes will definitely leave you feeling relaxed and revitalised but without any doubt that you’ve just done a good full body work out when finished!
