SHELTERED HOUSING & NURSING HOMES

Elderly Accommodation Counsel's aim is to help older people make informed choices about meeting their housing and care needs. It was founded in 1984, and became registered as a charity in 1985. It is now more commonly known as EAC.

Since its early days, it has striven to deliver a first class information and advice service directly to older people and their relatives and carers, and at the same time raise the awareness of other advisory agencies, professionals and policy makers of the importance people attach to information and advice which helps them make their own decisions about how and where to live in older age.

Contains photographs, descriptions, and contact information of residential care and nursing homes.

Information, resources, and links for those that have an interest in sheltered or retirement housing.
